Real estate agents and auctioneers work hard to stay on top of their game. And it is no small feat to keep up with the technological advancements, cultural trends, and industry evolution happening at warp speed in this day and age. Fortunately, United Country Real Estate strives to do just that. Four times a year the company offers its affiliates an invaluable 4-day training event called United Power. Last week, three team members from Heard Auction and Real Estate, including myself, attended United Power in Kansas City, Missouri. Mike Duffy, President of United Country Real Estate, shared with us his industry insights and business planning instruction, along with other key experts in the company, like Nora Sullivan, Angie Gallaher and Nate Ryan. These presenters taught new techniques to increase listings, find more buyers, and optimize PR and marketing. Many topics were addressed, including strategic client services, power listing tips, auction services, and video use in social media. We learned that voice searches have surpassed the use of text searches online, a trend with ramifications we need to understand. We left United Power full of new tools and resources, eager to put all our newfound knowledge to work, connecting sellers and buyers in Oklahoma even better than before!
