I have been fortunate enough to be able to pursue careers that have interested me, but the one I keep coming back to is Real Estate. On reflection, all of the positions I have held are to be of assistance to people. Teaching young people about another language and how someday it might be of benefit to their career, or seeing and realizing that they are artistic and can produce beauty in their life. Massage therapy, allowed me to bring physical relief of pain. I decided to test my ability in running a restaurant. The food was great, the hours awful, but feeding people brought me great pleasure. However, there is nothing like the satisfaction of helping that young couple purchase their first home. Helping them to see the color on the wall can be changed and giving suggestions based on asking the right questions and listening to their answers. Seeing the world of their future and family is so very satisfying. Helping an older couple who are having to leave their life-long home because they can no longer take care of it. Reassuring them along the way that we will find someone who loves their home also. It is more than just than just bricks and mortar, two by fours and nails. What feeds my soul is helping buyers find a Home and not just a house.
